MnDOT ADA Classes Registration Now OpenADA Construction Certification/Recertification – eLearning
This course provides attendees with an understanding of how to construct pedestrian facilities that provide accessibility in the public right-of-way from initial surveys and layout through construction. It will also include the latest updates in contract documents for MnDOT ADA Construction. The course is designed for both those who desire the 3-year MnDOT ADA Construction certification and those who desire recertification for an additional 3 years. This is a self-paced course consisting of 3 individual modules with no time limit, and an exam. To access and complete this course, participants will need internet access and a computer or tablet.

ADA Construction Site Management – In Person Class
Prerequsite: ADA Construction Certification/Recertification – eLearning class
This is an advanced ADA Construction site management training course designed for Project Supervisors, lead ADA Inspection and Survey personnel, and Contractors Forman and Supervisors. Training will provide attendees with an understanding of how to construct pedestrian facilities that provide accessibility in the public right-of-way from initial surveys and layout through construction. The course covers the construction requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and MnDOT Standard Plans and Specifications.
Prerequsite: ADA Construction Certification/Recertification – eLearning class

This full-day training will provide attendees with an understanding of how to provide accessibility in the public right-of-way from scoping through final design. The course covers the basic design requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and how those needs relate to the broader concepts of designing facilities that are usable, constructable, and maintainable. Participants will gain an understanding of the importance of ADA, MnDOT Standard Plans, Accessible Pedestrian Signals, Outside-In Design, and Project Scoping.
